Hazel G has always had a love for art, ever since she was young. She pursued art for some of her education as a teenager and started out painting with gouache. Hazel later took a long gap away from art to focus on her family. As her children got older, Hazel got back into painting and drawing, and now goes to a weekly art group run by Donna White, a professional artist from South Africa. Hazel has enjoyed doing a collection of endangered animal drawings which reflect on her love of animals. She also enjoys painting landscapes and capturing the beauty of nature working with both acrylic and oil paints.
Jenny G took up art later in life by starting a drawing class at the Putney School of Art & Design. She found it a great way to relieve the pressures of daily life and use the creative part of her brain. Staying at PSAD, she subsequently moved to painting, beginning with acrylics before finding her favourite medium of oil. She now enjoys painting a variety of subjects, generally with some level of abstraction. She also enjoys working with collage and mixed media.
Emma G has loved art ever since she was young and has followed in her mother’s footsteps of becoming an artist. When Emma was a teenager she was diagnosed with autism and OCD, and started struggling a lot with school and her home life. During this time, she decided to take a break from painting to focus solely on her well-being. A few years later, Emma eventually fell back in love with painting and has enjoyed painting in the comfort of her own bedroom. Emma enjoys a mixture of mediums, but has lately been doing a lot of oil paintings and has been having a lot of fun painting vases and flowers.
